This site is intended as both a tribute to Ashton Fletcher, and to sell live recorded concerts of the Powerhouse Band, which he conducted and performed at CCBC Essex, as well as concerts of various jazz musical groups that performed with him at the Fletcher Music School.

Baltimore County has established the Ashton Fletcher Music School Scholarship Fund at CCBC Essex. Proceeds from your kind and generous donations will support the continuance of that program.

There are some great music performances on this site, and I hope this serves as a tribute to Ashton, not only as a performer, but to his legacy as a dedicated music instructor, and perhaps more importantly, as a mentor for so many of us.

Listening to one or more of these songs may inspire you, someone you know, or your children to take music or even theory lessons, and to experience the joy of performing music either in public, or a not so public venue.

Prices are marked and you may name your own price. All and payments are processed via secure PayPal e-transaction sessions (https). PayPal is a very well established and secure e-commerce service allowing you to use bank account or credit cards for on-line transactions.

Song download file types:
The files can be downloaded in a variety of formats such as WAV (lossless), MP3, etc. You can set-up folders for albums and songs in your computer or phone to work with Media Player, iTunes, etc.

Proceeds:
Your donations first go to cover expenses of the site, e-transaction fees, taxes and royalties for the song writers/publishers. After expenses, the proceeds benefit The Fletcher Music School and Scholarships at CCBC Essex.

Total number of songs/albums:
I estimated that I have recorded well over 250 songs of Ashton either playing or conducting. Currently, I am reformatting file types, cataloging, uploading additional songs and concerts which I must balance with other activities. As of of May-21, there are about 120 songs on this site and I expect that maybe 50% complete.

When are all the songs on this site?
I hope to be completed with adding concerts recorded up through 2014 by the end of July. Other artists might agree to help generate additional proceeds by including other recordings. Once you sign up, you can register to be notified when new releases become available.
